How to Make High Heels Quiet

Even though high heels give you a tall, professional look, the shoes themselves often make an undesirable clicking noise that can annoy both you and your coworkers. Fortunately, you don't have to sacrifice looks or fashion just to wear shoes that aren't so noisy.

Instructions

Purchase a small piece of felt that matches the color of the bottoms of your heels. Most shoes have black heels, but if your shoes are different, take them into a craft store with you and find a color that matches.

Trace the bottoms of your heels onto the felt and cut out the pattern. If you don't want the felt on the bottoms of your heels to be noticeable, cut the felt piece slightly smaller than the bottoms of the heels.

Center the pieces of felt on the heels and glue them into place. Allow the glue to dry completely before you wear the heels.
