How Do I Make Rubber Soled Shoes Quit Squeaking?

It can be embarrassing when you are trying your best to be quiet and your rubber soled shoes won't quit speaking. Whether it's a soft squeak or more of a shrill squeal, it's a nuisance for you as well as others. There are a few tricks you can try to get your rubber soled shoes to quit sqeaking and create some peace and quiet.

Instructions

Apply a thin coat of hair conditioner on the outer sole of the rubber soled shoes with a soft cloth. This will stop the squeak when the sole of the shoe comes into contact with the floor.

Sprinkle baby powder under the inner sole of the shoes. This will prevent the shoe from squeaking when the inner sole of the shoe rubs against the inner sides of the shoe and creates a squeaking noise.

Apply super glue to a shoe's loose heel or toe. It will stop the flapping noise.

Spray a quick layer of silicone spray on the rubber soled shoes to prevent areas of the shoe from rubbing against one another and creating noise.
