How to Get the Right Fit in Ugg Boots

Ugg boots have been an American fashion trend for several years. Not only are they pleasing to the eye, but they'll also keep you warm during the coldest days of winter. These boots are made of sheep skin and insulated with a comfortable wool-like fiber. If you're looking for Uggs for the first time, you may run into complications with finding the right size. Using a few rules of thumb, however, you can find the perfect fit and cut your shopping time in half.

Instructions

Bring a pair of thick socks with you to the store when you are going for an Ugg boot fitting. These should be the socks you will wear regularly with the boots.

Ask for at least two different sizes in the boot once you are at the store. Pick out the size you typically wear in other shoes, and one size up.

Try on each of the two sizes of the boot with your socks on. When trying each pair, be sure to wear both boots, not just the left or right.

Walk around in the boots to get a feel for them. They should fit comfortably, with approximately 1/2 inch between your big toe and the front of the boot.

Try on the larger size and walk around in them, whether or not your feet fit into the boot of your normal shoe size. Because of the wool-like insulation in Uggs, a larger size may be more comfortable for you.
