How to Clean Blue-Tinted Shoe Soles

Cleaning blue shoe soles on leather dress shoes restores color richness and vibrancy. Instructions

Brush the sides of the soles with a horsehair brush, knocking off any loose dirt.

Swirl one corner of a damp cloth in saddle soap, forming a mild lather.

Gently rub the sides of the soles, removing any residual dirt and contamination.

Wipe off any excess soap with a clean section of the damp cloth. Clean the other sole while the first one dries.

Place a small amount of antioxidant cleaner on a clean cloth.

Rub the soles with the cleaner. Watch for the cloth to turn darker and the soles to become a clear blue.

Repeat the process as needed, until the soles return to an icy blue.
