How to Embellish Flip-Flops: 5 Fun Ways

It wouldn't be summer without basic inexpensive flip-flop sandals. They come in every color imaginable, and in styles that run from casual to nighttime-ready. Take a plain pair and customize them with a design all your own. With a few embellishments, you'll have one-of-a-kind footwear to wear all summer long.

Instructions

With a glue gun, carefully glue sequins or tiny beads to cover the straps. Use complementary colors. For instance, if you have blue flip-flops, attach silver and blue sequins.

Enhance your flip-flops with tiny metallic stickers across the straps. For example, make patriotic flip-flops by adding tiny red, white and blue stars.
