How to Glue Jewels on Sneakers

Instructions

Purchase rhinestones and crystals from online jewelry stores to add to the sneaker. Other cheaper options include plastic and acrylic stones, which you can purchase online or in craft stores.

Wipe sneakers with a wet, but tightly squeezed rag. Rub alcohol onto the sneaker and pat down the surface with paper towels. Let dry.

Decide on a design for your sneakers. Sketch a pattern on a piece of paper and then directly onto the shoe for reference before applying glue.

Place glue on the selected spot. Make sure the glue is a sufficient amount according to the size of the jewel.

Use an applicator or tweezers to apply the jewels onto the designated spot. Press down to secure its stability on the sneaker.

Place a few jewels on one sneaker before doing the other one, then return to the first one and add more jewels. Repeat the pattern to ensure consistency on both sneakers.

Let bejeweled sneakers air dry for two hours before wearing them. For quicker results, use a hair dryer on cool to dry.
