When the husband and wife team Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup went on a horse buying trip more than two decades ago, they came across a barn shoe in Denmark. That clog led them to form their own comfort shoe company. The oiled leather Dansko shoes are considered one of the more popular styles. The oiled leather, which is highly durable and moisture-proof, does require some special care, which will extend the life of your Dansko shoes as well as keep them looking their best.

Instructions

Clean your oiled Dansko Shoes with a damp cloth, removing dirt and grime.

Apply Dansko Leather Restorer with a soft cotton cloth. Massage the product into the oiled leather, sometimes referred to as rugged leather, being sure to use the product liberally.

Buff the oiled leather Dansko shoes with a soft cotton cloth after the leather restorer is dry.

Apply the beeswax conditioner with a soft cotton cloth, massaging the product in using a circular motion.

Buff the beeswax conditioner after it is dry. This will ensure the shoes continue to be moisture-proof.
